Lexington’s roots date back to the 1600s when it was part of Cambridge, MA. Incorporated as a separate town in 1713, the town was the site of the famous Battle of Lexington on April 19th, 1775. Lexington continues to commemorate the battle with a yearly re-enactment. After the war, it grew at a modest pace before experiencing a jump in population during the 60s and 70s due to the high-tech boom and its proximity to Boston.

There are many majestic homes for sale in Lexington. The median listing price is $1.5 million, with homes ranging from single-family homes to condos and new construction.
