The historic town of Lexington is a safe and upscale suburb ideal for families

Step back into time in Lexington, located just 11 miles from Downtown Boston. Well-known as the site of the first shots fired in the American Revolution, Lexington is steeped in history.

Lexington’s roots date back to the 1600s when it was part of Cambridge, MA. Incorporated as a separate town in 1713, the town was the site of the famous Battle of Lexington on April 19th, 1775. Lexington continues to commemorate the battle with a yearly re-enactment. After the war, it grew at a modest pace before experiencing a jump in population during the 60s and 70s due to the high-tech boom and its proximity to Boston.

There are many majestic homes for sale in Lexington. The median listing price is $1.5 million, with homes ranging from single-family homes to condos and new construction.
